If you ever stayed on our campsite or strolled through West Worldham with the nagging feeling that you were being watched, then you were probably right. The culprit was our nosey llama Alfie, who has died peacefully aged 26. Initially brought in to protect our livestock from foxes, he showed little interest in sheep or any other animals. What really concerned him was the futility and madness of human existence and how to witness as much of it as possible. He looked down on everybody in every sense, but possessed just enough charm to get away with it. If you ever got carried away and imagined yourself to be a bit special, Alfie always reminded you that you were not, which is not such a bad thing really. Rest in peace Alfie.
